Denny Deveny
Denny is a nationally certified family therapist. He has helped couples and families work through crises and conflict for more than 20 years. He has earned two Masters Degrees and has taught family studies at the graduate school level. Denny is a volunteer mediator with East Metro Mediation serving the needs of Gresham, Troutdale, Wood Village, and Fairview. He and his wife, Mary-Clare, have been married 33 years and have two grown sons.
Denny is professionally trained to help couples through the difficult process of divorce in ways that build communication in the family for the best interests of each person’s future. He believes that a mediated divorce is superior to the typically costly and adversarial litigated divorce that seeks to prove a “winner” and a “loser.” A mediated divorce can actually be a “win-win” when couples sincerely desire that result. He can assist you with all aspects of divorce, including child support, custody, parenting plans, asset distribution and settlements. Denny uses a collaborative approach that draws upon the resources of other professionals that would be in the best interest of his clients.
