Luke Morley draws on a broad and diverse background as an attorney, corporate counsel, corporate manager, and award winning marketing director for his family business.   Luke graduated from the University of San Francisco and subsequently received a post-graduate Juris Doctorate from Lincoln Law School where he graduated in the top third of his class and received the Bancroft Whitney Award for Wills and Trusts.

(Luke spent sixteen years in the title insurance business in the Bay Area.  He then spent seven years as counsel before moving to the “business side” as manager of Chicago Title’s San Francisco operation.)   Luke spent sixteen years in the title insurance business in the Bay Area.  He spent seven years as counsel before moving to the “business side” as manager of Chicago Title’s San Francisco operation.    He then ran their National Business Unit, which specialized in coordinating complicated interstate real estate transactions.  He also spent part of his career as an attorney in Safeway Stores’ real estate law department.

In 1997, Morley and his wife, Lori, moved from the Bay Area to Lake Oswego to assist her family business in transitioning to the next generation.  At Lakeside Lumber, he assumed the position of Marketing Director and earned multiple awards in that role.

Luke has been active in the Home Builders Association, serving on both the Portland and Oregon Board of Directors.   He has the unique distinction of receiving the Portland Home Builders Association’s “President’s Award” and “Associate of the Year” twice.

Morley has also participated in multiple charities, most notably serving as President of the Portland Home Builders Foundation.   He was named as an Honorary Board member for his efforts with that nonprofit which recently was recognized as the primary non-governmental provider of shelter to the temporarily homeless in the Portland Metro area.

Luke and Lori are licensed foster parents and have eight children, seven of which are adopted.  In his spare time Luke enjoys honing his skills with his guitar, golf clubs and fishing tackle.
