Mediation Training

ONE DAY CONFLICT COACHING TRAINING/CREATING A DRAMA-FREE WORKPLACE

This one day training is offered once quarterly or can be scheduled for your company.  Participants will gain understanding of the sources of drama, their own conflict style, and the dynamics of how drama spreads in the work place.  Real life skills of diffusing drama, mediation, and addressing sources of conflict are taught using role play techniques, the most effective learning style for conflict management.

TWO DAY CONFLICT COACHING FOR PROFESSIONALS

Most professionals do not need the full 40 hour training for mediation, yet within a two day training, can come away with helpful skills in negotiation and mediation.  The training covers conflict sources, styles, and mitigation.  Participants will gain mediation skills in listening, interest-based negotiation, processes in mediation through hands on experience and examples.

BASIC MEDIATION TRAINING

Dr. Kinnison and the Genesis Mediation Team offers the required 40 hours of basic mediation training several times each year.  The training is designed for those seeking to pursue a career in mediation.  Advanced and specialty training is offered in divorce and family, eldercare, business, and non-profit.  Dr. Kinnison offers additional training on successful principles of building a mediation practice.

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE: MEDIATION STRATEGIES FOR PROFESSIONALS AND FAMILIES

Dr. Kinnison has presented this seminar to a number of groups who find the topic very helpful.  Designed for professionals serving in the eldercare field, participants leave with some basic mediation strategies and insight into healthy conflict resolution techniques.  Included are suggestions of when and how to refer to a professional mediator for high conflict cases.
